Liu Liang
A scientist of Chinese medicine and pharmacology, former president of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). In 2019 he was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering — the first national-academy academician produced in Macau — with a profound impact on Chinese-medicine research and higher education in Macau; he is also a Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors.

Pui-In Mak
A Macau-born microelectronics scholar and engineer, professor at the University of Macau. Working on integrated circuits and radio-frequency chips, in 2019 he became the first Macao native elected an IEEE Fellow; he is also a Fellow of the IET and the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Foreign Academician of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences.
