Chui Tak Kei was long active in Macau's associations and construction industry and supported charities such as the Tung Sin Tong; , a physician turned community organiser, ran the Kiang Wu Hospital for many years, serving Macau through both medicine and organisation. Together with community leaders and , they formed the backbone of Macau's patriotic commercial and philanthropic networks.
