A New Chapter in Macau Sport: National Games & Asian Games Heroes

A Gold That Rewrote the Record

Macau's older sports rosters are dominated by martial-arts veterans. On 6 November 2025, in the men's team kata final at the 15th National Games (Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau), Macau's karate team beat Hong Kong 42.7 to 40.4 to win gold — the first-ever National Games gold for Macau's sporting delegation, and the team's first medal of those Games. This series is built for the three kata athletes who made that moment.
